Our Trip

Here is a visual rundown of our extended road trip. It was a great trip, but it's always nice to be back in your own bed.

Some of the highlights include:

• 1st road trip in our passenger vehicle; so nice!
• Hanging out with Megan, Search and Destroy (it was like we haven't been separated for the past 14 months; the kids just picked up where they left off)
• My first attempt at water skiing; not successful, but we enjoyed the tubing
• My first trip to Oregan. LOVED IT! Its so green and full of TREES! (The drive home was very depressing- CA looks dead in comparison)
• Went kayaking at a lake. Very relaxing and beautiful
• Went to Sun River and did a lot of biking, playing and swimming.
• Drove through central OR. One of the most beautiful drives I have ever done
• Washington Park in Portland (rose garden and arboretum)
• Ride on the MAX
• Shopping at Nike's employee store. (perks of having a brother who works there)
• Visiting friends that we haven't seen in years. (Davis's and Russell's)
• Megan and I are still friends after 10 days in very close proximity and not being around each other for over a year.

Lowlights:

• 2 children getting sick after arriving in Medford(fevers and one threw up twice)
• Not having Miracle Gro with us
• Dragonfly puking all over himself 50 miles from home. (luckily this did not happen while I was driving solo)
• Driving home (again... a depressing drive) It felt like I was gone for a month and yet,I still was not ready to go home.
