Happy Thanksgiving

I just thought I would take a quick break from the kitchen and say "Happy Thanksgiving" to all our loved ones and friends. This year I am hosting (my first time) and I have been in the kitchen all morning and will be all afternoon. My neighbor is bringing the turkey and gravy (pregnancy and poultry don't mix), so I will take care of everything else. Pies are done. Now just for the rolls and sides.

Now I would just like to say what I am thankful for:

*A wonderful husband and best friend who works so hard to provide for his family and their future.
*Two beautiful and happy children who make life so much more interesting (and tiring).
*Family and Friends
*Our health
*The Gospel of Jesus Christ

I love this time of year and the chance to gather and enjoy one another's company and eat great food. I feel truly blessed. Love to all!

Funny. The gardener has been musing about switching to a big london broil for thanksgiving instead of a turkey. Those turkeys in the picture better switch their tune by next year.
