Past two weeks

Ever hear of the expression "Four is More"? I didn't, until recently, but I have to agree... "Four is More". The past two weeks have been CRAZY!!! Luckily, I have had my mother here and I am still sane. (She has been picking up my slack around the house)

So, the past two weeks consisted of Holiday Parties at school, last Ballet/Tap class for T.L. and last swim class for S.D. (no pics of S.D. in the pool), last minute shopping, work holiday party, wrapping gifts, sewing a stocking, helping with other projects, visiting teaching, doctor appts, dentist appts, eye appts and trying to fit some service in there.

For Christmas Eve we took the children to the zoo. Hardly any people were there, which was nice (no crowds!) We really enjoyed our time together as a family, despite the bitter cold and lack of animals. That evening we enjoyed homemade pizza and watching the nativity story. Then the children opened one gift, put them on and went to bed.

We enjoyed a very relaxing Christmas Day. M.G. made waffles and then we opened gifts and played the day away as a family. For dinner we went to my brothers house, where we ate and played some more.

I do have to mention that on the 23rd we lost another crab. Big Claw has passed on. Snap Dragon was very upset but was comforted with the fact that he died of natural causes and he had a nice 5 months of living with us as king of his own castle. We'll probably adopt another one next month.
