Tea Party

Saturday my good friend and neighbor had a tea party for me in celebration of the upcoming birth of my third child. I am not really one for showers (plus I don't need much having 2 children already), so I asked her if we could do a small intimate party with some of the wonderful women I have met while living here. No gifts, just light lunch, tea and congenial conversation with other wonderful women. It was so lovely to just sit and visit and celebrate the women that we are in all our femininity. I had a great time and really enjoyed it, especially the food. Everyone brought a little something to share and it was so good.

Here's a picture of me & ladybug and me & my mother

Since living here, I have met and become friends with the most wonderful women.

I had to post a picture of the diaper cakes that were given. They are so pretty I can't bear to take them apart.

Thank you Christi for a wonderful afternoon.

This was a man-hating party wasn't it?! It was during this party that your then-unborn child decided to be a girl.
