Health Tip

So the gardener is sick right now. She has a neat little cough, and it doesn't help when you have a person growing inside of you, making normal life stuff just a hair more difficult. Well, last night she was up coughing and couldn't get back to sleep. Trying to think of something helpful, I remembered that someone had told us a while back that honey is a useful cough suppressant. I went downstairs, got the honey and a spoon and gave the gardener a spoonful. In about 15 minutes, the coughing subsided. Thank you honey. (And thank you earth frenzy radio blog for the honey picture, even though I didn't spend time to read you blog.)

I don't know if I missed a entry awhile back, but what is Nancy having? A boy or a girl? When is the due date? How exciting!

Good thing to know. I have also heard and tried rubbing Vicks Vapo Rub on the soles of your feet. One things I can't stand when the kids or Retep have colds is the coughing at night. I think it keeps me up more than them. I hope she feels better soon. Not exactly a fun way to finish out your pregnancy.

I'm in the boat with ya...it's a good think that Nyquil is prego safe. That is the only reason that I am being able to get any sleep at night. If you need some...I have extra!

Amber, you're a peach. Slept so well last night. Thanks again!

I also took another spoonful of honey and didn't have coughing problems either.
