Tagged by Megan

10 years ago I: was a junior in high school. I was captain of my cheerleading squad. I had a steady boyfriend. I was also anxiously awaiting my upcoming trip to New York City for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. (Miracle Gro: I was a freshman in college and I had just cut my afro. the dry utah air killed my curls.)

5 years ago I: had been married for almost a year. Was a junior at BYU. Was working at the Library with my husband at nights. Was extremely involved in my major. (Taking care of animals is time consuming) Was contemplating the idea of maybe getting pregnant. (Miracle Gro: I was getting ready to take the GRE and qualify for grad school. Oh yeah, that whole baby thing.)

1 year ago I: was still living in the same apartment. Was hanging out at the playground all day with Megan and her kids. Was going to Disneyland every week. Playing games with our friends after the kids have gone to bed. I miss those days. (Miracle Gro: Me too.)

Yesterday I: Spent the day at my in-laws watching conference. Took a little nap. Came home, made dinner, did normal bed time routine with kids. Was out by 9:45pm. (Miracle Gro: Same here.)

5 snacks I enjoy: right now... Cheese sticks, apples and peanut butter, bowl of sugar cereal, chocolate milk and leftovers. (Miracle Gro: Brown sugar and cinnamon pop tarts, mountain dew, ice cream, chicken soup and a chocolate candy bar)

5 things I would do with a million dollars: pay off our student loan, down payment on a house, retirement, kids college/missions, and charity. (Miracle Gro: If there was anything left over, I would get an xbox 360 so gardener and I could play guitar hero.)

5 places I would run away to: Hawaii, Scotland, Italy, Alaska or anywhere as long as it is with Steven and no children. (Miracle Gro: Same here)

5 TV shows I like: The office, Smallville, Heroes, Lost and Arrested Development (we actually only get to watch 1 of these shows during the week, the rest we have to watch on DVD) (Miracle Gro: Smallville, The Office, Glenn Beck, 24 and I lved watching Ice Road Truckers.)

5 Things I hate doing: Bringing groceries from the car up to my apartment, holding my children down while they get shots, throwing up, grocery shopping with children, and using a community laundry room. (Miracle Gro: fine tuning a research paper, having the gardener do laundry, asserting my dominance as a father with the little ones, cleaning data, pulling weeds.)

Biggest joys of the moment: #3 baking in the oven, watching/helping Dragonfly learn to read and spell, Ladybugs successful potty moments, Miracle Gro's growing list of job prospects, Knowing we are almost done living here and moving on. (Miracle Gro: Watching #3 bake, having a paper published, getting ready for the job market, watching the family grow (both larger in size and in height, having the gardener's helper around.)

There Megan, I played your game! :) (Miracle Gro: So did I. Now other people can be tagged.)

Wow, you must be feeling better to complete a tag. Apples? What's this baby doing to you? You don't like apples! I love guitar hero also. We are currently working on finding a target that will hold the Wii for us. I finally redeemed my thankyou points for 400 target bucks and we are going to buy a Wii. If they ever carry them long enough for me to get there and buy one..... Thanks for humoring me guys. Love you guys. Train wreck is getting mighty boring without you guys too. Maybe we could play online against each other!

Yes, I forgot about that. I was making star wars Halloween costumes 10 years ago at this time.

I know, APPLES... and I have been eating bananas. I really don't like bananas, but I want them.

I think ticket to ride will be a Christmas gift to ourselves. Then we'll have to find a time to play.

Arrested Development is hilarious. We checked out the first season from our library. Wish they had the other seasons.

We used to watch Smallville but then I realized something; I couldn't relate to anything in the show. The characters were all too pretty- so I quit watching. I don't get much time to watch TV either, so when I do get time I try to watch what I know is already good like Seinfeld re-runs.
