A note on Fantasy Sports

I like sports. I used to like them a lot, though I have calmed down in my old age. I never really go into fantasy sports, though. I just never had the interest to micromanage players throughout the week or follow statistics of players (which is odd because I love statistics, but I digress).

Our good friends invited the gardener and I to participate in a fantasy baseball league. We both accepted, but after setting up our teams, neither of us ever did any managing. It turns out that tonight I just happened to look at the league. The gardener won the league, I got second place and our neighbor who micromanages his team got fourth.

So, how much of a fantasy team's success depends on the actual effort of the manager? Let's hear your stories of success or failure as managers! Or, if you hate fantasy sports altogether.

All I know is that I beat my husband in fantasy football this year (and he has the better record). Thank you Tom Brady!

So I guess that means I got third? I never even knew what the website was.
