Anniversary Present

For our anniversary, I bought two tickets to see Muse at the Rose Garden Arena. We bought the tickets in December, but the show wasn't until last night. Well, after all the anticipation and waiting, the show came. In general, with a lot of anticipation and high expectations for a given event, the actual occurrence tends to be a let down. This was not the case last night. Muse not only delivered, but exceeded all unusually high expectations. This band of three knows how to put on a good show. Unfortunately, we didn't take our camera. So you'll have to make due with cell phone pictures.

The Gardener picked me up from Priesthood Session and we raced off to the Max Station. Here is a picture of us on the Max Train. It was really great, since the train dumped us off right at the arena. We didn't have to worry about parking or anything.

We got to the arena right after the opening band, and got to sit there waiting for about an hour. Here is us waiting.

Once the show started, we knew it was going to be full of awesome. I tried to take more pictures, but didn't save them. However, the lasers were cool.

We came to realize that part of the awesomeness of the show was our mutual appreciation for the music. Neither myself or the Gardener were there just for the other person, tolerating the surroundings. We both were enjoying it. Another plus, the crowd wasn't shady(quite a few families)and the show was clean.

Thank you Muse, for the awesome show. Keep up the good work, and keep on Rocking!

Going to a concert with your spouse is the best! Glad you all had a great time. (This is the Trainer, Retep doesn't want to be attributed with sounding too girly:)
