Last weekend M.G's parents came into town for Monkey's blessing. 1st stop was riding the Holiday Train along the river. We rode in these vintage train cars pulled by a massive Steam engine. Everything was decked out in lights.
Guess who loved it the most? Snap Dragon. He still loves trains and tells us he is going to be a train engineer when he grows up. When the children get older, we are seriously considering a vacation where we travel the Canadian Rockies by train.

On Saturday we bought a tree! This was our first real tree purchase. It was another moment for us where we just felt so blessed. We were able to 1. afford a tree and 2. have room enough in our home to put it up.
After the blessing on Sunday, we spent the afternoon decorating with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids really missed their grandparents, which in turn made them miss their house in CA, which in turn, made them miss all their friends in CA.

Yeah, we miss you too! Thanks again for the Christmas tree though--DB reminded me that we had it and was so excited when it was decorated that he gave it a hug.
