The Coin is Flipping

The Man Upstairs is responsible for the coin flip. He recently informed us that the coin is really big and it takes a long time to go from heads to tails. Well, it looks like the coin is flipping from tails to heads. The Gardener and I were able to take the day off (from being parents) and head off to Snow Summit. We had a good time, and the weather was nice. It started to get hot, to the point where we shed our outer layers down to ski pants and long sleeve shirts. But we made sure to take some time and make a snowman (embellishments made by MS Paint).

When we left the mountain, the main road to the ski areas opened up, allowing us to take the shorter route home. Since everything was going well that day, I was hoping to have job offers in my email box, but the coin doesn't flip that fast.

Thanks to a gift card, we had linner (well, not really linner since it was 4 pm) at Macaroni Grill. Yummy. Then we got to sit in traffic on the 91 westbound for an hour and listen to people call into a radio show and rant against the tax increase coming from the new CA state budget.

All in all, it was a good day. Thanks to Miracle Gro's parents for watching the flowers.

You know me--I'm all about the tender mercies for my faithful. Just don't get greedy, okay?

All I want is two more tender mercies; A flyout which then leads to a job offer. After that, I won't ask anything else of you. I won't even ask for my child's life if he/she is on his/her death bed.
