First, let me say that we very rarely go to the movies. This year we have gone to the theater to see 4 movies and 2 of them were this week. On Thursday I took all 3 children to the dollar theater to see this:
It exceeded my expectations. The children seemed to have enjoyed it. They sat through it really well. Afterwards, walking out to the car, Dragonfly says "mommy, that was an interesting movie". I would give it a 6 out of 10.
I was so excited to the see the following movie last night. Growing up, it was one of my favorite shows on Nick at Night (my mother always had this on at night). For some reason I just always got a kick out of Don Adams and I loved "Get Smart".

I agree...Horton was a pleasant surprise. Have not seen the other yet! Thanks for the report!
Are you done reading The Host? I am having trouble getting in to it.
For me, the host was a slow start too. I skipped entire paragraphs and only went back to read them if I didn't have context for the dialogue. It will get better . . .
It takes a few chapters to get in to and it wasn't until the end that I couldn't put it down.
Glad to hear your review about Get Smart. It looked really funny, but you never know if they show you all the funny parts in the previews.
We'll have to check out Horton...Sutton wanted to see it but I didn't think it was still in theaters! :-)
