Cooties!!

HA HA HA!!! I got my cootie before you did! Usually, it was the other way around in that you didn't want cooties. Well, with Cootie, you actually want to get your cootie before anyone else does. How, might you ask, do one get a cootie? Pick up a die, roll a 1, a 2, then 3-5 and six 6's. Once those are done, you have a cootie. We played a few rounds of cootie this afternoon (thanks grandma A). B won the first round, I won the second round. B, being the sharp tack that he is, was becoming frustrated with his inability to roll a 6. He started to examine the die before a throw and set the intial die position that (in his mind) would generate a 6. Surprisingly, the number of 6's he threw after that increased significantly. So much for uniform probability on each face of the die. Next time, I will have to document each throw and derive some pdf on B and his die throwing. Here is what the winning cooties looked like.
