Its not Goodbye, Its See You Later...

On Tuesday night, we said farewell to our good friends, the Madsens. They graduated and are moving on to residency. We were all sad to see them go, but especially me and B. W and B have been playing together since they were 18 months old and have become best friends. Megan and I helped each other through 1 pregnancy and 2 1/2 years of med/graduate school. It was a much more enjoyable experience after finding one another. Lucky for us, our boys loved to play together and we clicked. Thank goodness for web cams, email, cell phones and blogs, so we can always keep in touch.

The above pictures are of W & B and J & M hugging goodbye, J trying to get more hugs and kisses from M (When he tried to go in for the 2nd one, she ran away from him). I think she finally gave in, just to get him to go. The last picture is of the neighbors at our place to say their good byes. In true "Nancy" fashion, I served cold Milk and warm homemade chocolate chip cookies. (A Nancy & Meg favorite) They were a hit, if I do say so myself. Alright, enough about me, back to the Madsens. You are missed already! Its just not the same without you. Can't wait to come check out your spacious abode on your 1/2 acre. We love you!
